Sensors

Bogus Caller Button

An additional alarm button can be installed at your door. If you are unsure about a visitor to your home you can press the button to talk to one of the Operators at the Response Centre.

Fall Sensor

A Fall Sensor detects if you have had a serious fall and automatically sends an alarm call to the Response Centre. It is a popular addition to the Telecare alarm unit as it has so many uses for all sorts of personal circumstances.

Flood Detector

A Flood Detector provides an early warning by alerting the Response Centre if there is a possible flood in your home. It can be placed by the bath, shower or sink for constant peace.

Gas Safety System

This Telecare system incorporates a sensor (shown), control panel and gas shut-off valve. If either natural gas or carbon monoxide exceed safe levels then an alarm sounds and the system automatically turns off the gas supply. Uniquely, the Enterprise Duomo system is able to conduct a self-proving test and will reinstate the gas supply without the need for an engineer callout if safe conditions have been met.

Movement Detector

A movement detector can be used to identify the presence of an intruder in your home. Alternatively this device can be used to alert the Response Centre if you are inactive for a prolonged period of time.

Smoke Detector

A smoke detector provides additional protection by raising an automatic alarm call to the Response Centre if smoke is detected in your home. It's simple and quick to install as no wiring is necessary.

Temperature Extremes Sensor

This sensor is designed to provide early warning of potentially hazardous temperatures. It detects three specific temperature situations; high, low and rapid rate of rise in temperature, for example if the cooker has been left on.

Activity monitoring sensors

Portable, on-line monitoring system which uses movement sensors to generate a chart of activity of a person living alone. The Just Checking system is designed to be used for assessment and care of people with dementia.

GPS Tracker

Ideal for vulnerable people, especially the elderly and those with dementia, buddi is the smallest assisted GPS tracker locating people instantly and accurately - online, by phone or by text. The buddi 24/7 customer care and emergency support ensures that assistance is always available for both carer and wearer. The wearer's movements can be monitored by their carers for safety purposes, allowing them the independence to remain in their own home for longer and giving carers peace of mind. Features include person-down, historic tracking, boundary and emergency alert buttons.

SafePresence Audio Attendant

The SafePresence Audio Attendant is a standalone and fully portable transmitter and wireless receiver. The system is supplied with a handset with built in microphone providing a two-way audio communication and a call cord to press for help. Can be used simply as a communication system within the home or with a sensor to monitor if a person at risk of falling has left the bed or room, by sending an alert to the carer through the receiver.
Complete with rechargeable batteries and charger.

SafePresence status monitoring system

The SafePresence "bed-occupancy-alarm" provides an alert when a monitored person does not return to bed after a 10 minute bathroom break. Alternatively it can provide an alert when a monitored person simply leaves a bed or chair. This system can also be connected to the SafePresence Audio Attendant to provide a wireless alert to the caregiver who may not be in the same room.

Wrist Fall Detector

Falls Management has always been at the forefront of health and social care. This Fall Detector has been specially designed to be worn on the wrist permanently with maximum comfort for the user in their everyday life. The unique technology uses algorithms and an accelerometer to determine real falls. When a fall alarm is raised, the falls detector will vibrate immediately. At this point, if the user does not want to send out the alarm signal, they just have to move their arm which will cancel the alarm. If this is not done then the appropriate response can be sent.
