London Telecare is an amalgamation of all the London Borough Telecare Services who have got together to pool resources and therefore reach a wider audience. This has allowed London Telecare to produce a new poster campaign each year to promote Telecare Services and show how they can help you.
There is a free phone number on the posters and this goes through to a Response Centre at Lewisham who then supply the person calling with information about their local Telecare Service. The picture below left shows the 2008 'Pin board' Poster Campaign. A total of 2,000 new posters have been printed and will be distributed all over London in the next few weeks and months.

Last year's posters used two contrasting themes, one humorous and one dramatic, along the lines of the examples shown below. 'Get a Telecare Alarm!' is the recurring theme - showing how Telecare can help.

Other themes that may strike a chord with you can be seen below. These highlight the different needs of vulnerable people in the community that might at some stage need Telecare to help them in an emergency.
