2008 is proving to be another important year for Telecare, particularly if you live in London. More of us are living longer and our older relatives wish to remain in their own homes for as long as possible, leading independent lives. So how can Telecare help?
London Telecare is the organisation representing the Telecare Services operated by most of London's 32 boroughs. It is dedicated to advertising these services across London and the Home Counties, using a combination of posters, leaflets and exhibition materials.
You will find some useful information here, to help understand what Telecare is all about, and how you can access these services through your local Council.
In the following web pages, we show examples of life situations that you might recognise for yourself, a relative, neighbour or friend. You can then ask for further information from your local Telecare service by calling our Helpdesk on 0800 085 6323. Friendly and experienced staff will put you in touch with your nearest Telecare Centre.
Help will then be a phone call away.
